The Westover is Quoizel’s clean-lined take on modern industrial exterior lighting. An elongated rectangular steel frame, hand-riveted at the corners, carries clear beveled glass panels that leave the inside of the lantern completely open to view — the fixture reads as architecture rather than ornament. It sits comfortably on a shingled colonial, a brick ranch or a flat-front modern facade.
Four sizes cover most exterior applications. WVR8405 at 14.25" high is right for a garage service door or a tight side entry. WVR8406 at 17" and WVR8407 at 20" are the two most often used to flank a front door — a workable rule of thumb is a lantern roughly one-quarter to one-third the height of the door itself. WVR8409 at 22.75" is scaled for a two-story entry or a wide portico, where anything smaller simply disappears.
Every size takes one A19 medium-base (E26) bulb rated to 100W maximum, sold separately, and every size is dimmable and wet rated for direct exposure to rain. Mount a matched pair to flank an entry, or run a single fixture off-center for the looser, more contemporary look that works well on porches, patios and garage bays.
